Discover

We start with a 30-minute informational conversation (phone or virtual). The goal of this conversation is to learn about you, what you are looking to accomplish and answer your questions. It is important for us to gain an understanding about what you are looking for in working with an advisor.

We follow that with a strategy session (virtual or in person) - The goal of this meeting is to get clear on your goals, concerns, and unique financial situation. Your answers to our questions, along with the information we will gather from you, will us determine the appropriate path forward and help you feel a bit more organized about your finances.

Analyze

This is where the magic happens! If we agree to move forward with working together, we will use our tools to analyze where you are at and determine what needs to be done to get you to your goals.

Recommend

Using the information provided to us in the discovery phase and the work done in the analyze phase we will provide recommendations specific to your unique financial situation. Questions often answered in this phase include:

  • Are you saving enough to fund my retirement?
  • Can your portfolio be improved?
  • Are you maximizing your savings as tax efficiently as possible?
  • Do you have adequate protection to take care of your family if something were to happen to you?
  • What changes, if any, are needed achieve your financial goals?

Assuming it is appropriate, we will help you implement the agreed upon recommendations.

Ask any pilot and they will tell you a flight plan is only perfect while the plane is still on the ground. Once it gets in to the air, a multitude of variables change including air traffic, wind and turbulence. Changes in variables require change in plans, some big, some small. A financial plan is much the same. As such, we want to be your trusted partner to help you navigate your financial life, making the necessary changes to address your evolving life.  

To help keep you on track for meeting your goals we offer an ongoing client service model which includes (depending on level of engagement): 

  • Annual or semiannual strategy sessions: 
    • First half of the year strategy sessions focused on: 
      • Getting ready for taxes 
      • Investment review 
      • Insurance and estate review 
    • Second half of the year strategy sessions focused on: 
      • Year-end strategies 
      • Benefits and equity compensation review 
  • Quarterly check ins 
  • Ongoing access to book a meeting with us 
  • Minimum 48 hour response to all calls and emails 
  • Ongoing newsletters, blogs and article shares to help keep you informed.
